Rail Road Track Ruptures Fuel Tank

On February 29, our Emergency Spill Response Team responded to a fuel spill in Culleoka. A truck was crossing the rail road tracks when it bottomed out spilling fuel for about 1,000 feet till the driver stopped the truck. The fuel continued to spill down a driveway close to a creek. Our team was on scene within minutes and absorbed all the fuel in the roadway, and remediated the contaminated ground at the residence.
