Vehicle Accident Closes HWY 69

On July 18, 2023 Enviro Medics Emergency Spill Response Team was requested to Highway 69 in Morris Chappel TN for a tractor trailer accident. The truck hit a culvert and spilled approximately 200 gallons of fuel into the ditchline. Our crews worked quickly to absorb the fuel, oil and debris as strong storms were approaching. We made quick work of the incident and assisted the towing company with removing the truck. Teamwork reduced the cost to the company and impact on the environment. The site was returned to pre accident conditions before we left.
